  • Advised the EPC contractor on cradle-to-grave construction issues on a methane gas collection facility in Equatorial Guinea.
  • Advised the owner/developer of a US$2 billion power plant on construction, financing, completion and environmental matters.
  • Workout of five international power projects impacted by the bankruptcy of The Washington Group.
  • Workout of multiple fiber optic installation projects on behalf of an owner, when contractor filed for Chapter 11.

  • Trial of a light rail project dispute encompassing over US$300 million in claims for disputed extra work items and delay claims on behalf of a public owner.
  • Litigation and arbitration of US$600 million in delay and defect claims in bankruptcy court and various international arbitrations arising from five related power plants in the UK, the Philippines and the US on behalf of the equipment supplier.
  • An ICC arbitration involving US$30 million in alleged defects in a power plant in the Caribbean through hearings and award on behalf of the equipment supplier.
  • An ICRD arbitration involving US$20 million in schedule delays and alleged defects in a combined cycle power plant in Texas.
